This mahogany Decanter Box holds 2 spirit bottles with mushroom stoppers. It’s lined with faded velvet to cushion the decanters and has a flush brass carrying handle to the top. The box is a slightly smaller size than standard and although plain, is well made and retains its key. The lid has stay hinges to support it when open. Early to mid 19th Century.
